Meet The Team

We offer group therapy or one to one counselling for children and adults who feel they may be experiencing difficulties in life or with a partner. We work with adults of all ages, men and women and also couples. We specialise in bereavement counselling, domestic violence, addictions relationship and sexual issues. We are all trained to a high standard. Those registered with the BACP follow the ethical framework set out by them. We have three therapists that work with CBT, some are UKCP registered.

Within the team of integrative counsellors we can offer much more than we can even write about!

Therapy is time you can talk about the things that maybe you even think are not worth talking about, difficulties shared between you and your counsellor can help you to look at what has brought you to want to talk to us. This could very well include discussing life events, from the past and what’s going on right now. We can look at your emotions, your feelings, your relationships, the way you think and those sometimes unwanted patterns of behaviour. We can look at ways of coping and also help you with your road to recovery. We offer both short term and long term support.

We have therapists that can work with CBT, and within the team of integrative counsellors, play therapists and psychotherapists we have a very talented team of practitioners.

Our rooms are in a lovely barn in Kings Langley discretely tucked away. Please be aware this is located in the car park of the Rudolf Steiner School. We ask you arrive at the designated time slot and leave the grounds after your appointment for safeguarding the children, you are not permitted on the school grounds past our fencing.

Fees

Our fees range from £45 for qualified counsellors and we do offer a lower rate for those clients that can be seen by our trainee counsellors. Individual counsellors have their own charges as couples work is more expensive than one to one counselling, CBT is from £50 to £75 depending on who you may see. This will all be discussed in your first appointment. We offer counselling students a reduced rate for their therapy as part of their courses alongside our younger students rates. Please ask Helen for details. Please note we have a limited amount of spaces at reduced rates and we carefully consider every clients ability to pay and also the times to suit you. Evening and Saturday appointments are excluded from concessions.

Please note that you maybe asked to pay a session fee as a deposit, this will be returned on your last therapy session. 24 hours notice is required to cancel an appointment as full charge will be need to be paid without this. Couples and family therapy needs to paid by BACS in advance.
